The National Band Association is saddened to learn of the passing of NBA Past President Edward S. Lisk. In addition to serving as president of the NBA from 1990-1992, Mr. Lisk also served as NBA Executive Secretary from 1997-2002. He was a recipient of the National Band Association AWAPA award in 2015, a recipient of the National Band Association Al & Gladys Wright Distinguished Legacy Award in 2024, and was an elected member of the National Band Association Hall of Fame of Distinguished Band Conductors.
